Hi, I'm Ken

Thanks for visiting. I'm a recent transplant to the Boston Massachusetts area, living with my boyfriend while he completes his MBA. I'm originally from Utah, I like Apple, FileMaker, writing about my feelings, and eating edamame.

SML is a Witch

SML and I have an agreement that for every six days that he's doing homework and strewing every calculator he owns on our furniture, I'm entitled to one day of doing something together. That sounds a lot more sad than it is because we do generally spend the nights together, albeit behind different laptop screens.

We decided to spend Saturday in Salem, something I've been looking forward to since I saw 'The Crucible.' I'm a typical tourist in that I follow the painted red line on the sidewalks to wherever they lead and then drink the wine samples. Among the stops on the painted line were the House with Seven Gables, several witch museums and houses, and old graveyards.

  Salem Graveyard

I was particularly fascinated by the graveyard because of how inherently evil the tombstones look. I'm disappointed that my pictures aren't more clear because Salem was stunning. I'm seriously considering purchasing a new camera.  I suggested this to SML who thinks I'm joking when I talk about dropping over $600 for a camera.  It's all I can think about now after browsing Flickr and seeing some of the beautiful shots. I'm now starting to scheme a scenario in that we will have no choice but to buy, baby, buy.

I'm lusting after a new camera too! The one I kinda want is almost $500, but I think it's more camera than I need... so I might just settle for the newer better model that's similar to the one I have cause it's under $150 ;)
