There are many things that I'm beginning to love about Boston, the most being that I can go downtown and end up at a free Alanis Morissette concert. I actually knew about the concert before going downtown, but I'm amazed at how many free things that you can do in this city. In Salt Lake City it seemed that if something were free, it involved tye dye clothing or a car salesman. I was hesitant to go to this concert and even after we were inside I kept looking around to make sure we didn't have sign up for a Capital One credit card. Afterwards we went to a housewarming party for one of SML's schoolmates and everyone kept asking how "we were liking school." These kinds of situations are extremely uncomfortable for me and I'm not even sure I can explain why. I feel very domesticated saying that I stay at home with Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, telecommuting to Salt Lake City, and baking chicken in my spare time. It feels very unwelcome to say something like that and so I say nothing at all, pretending to be very interested in the ceiling. This is all very random, but tonight I had a jello shot out of an orange peel. That seems very important for some reason.

... I kindof hate you right now :P I'm still in mourning that I wasn't in Utah when Alanis AND Matchbox were there and now you're rubbing it in my face that you got to see her for FREE?! |
