Thanks for visiting. I'm a recent transplant to the Boston Massachusetts area, living with my boyfriend while he completes his MBA. I'm originally from Utah, I like Apple, FileMaker, writing about my feelings, and eating edamame.
Last night I finished reading iWoz, the memoir of Steve Wozniak. SML got this book for me as a Birthday present. I had asked for it originally until I decided I’d prefer bamboo to a book. He got me both. But the bamboo might be dying.
I don’t normally write about anything that I’ve read because if I did you’d probably know way too much information about what goes on my head. I’ve been a sucker for self-help books ever since I read 'I’m OK, You’re OK' in the tenth grade. But this book is really worth mentioning.
I’m not an engineer or anything, far from it actually, but reading about Steve Wozniak’s thought process was really amazing. I remember after I finished reading the first couple of chapters I thought to myself, “I really like this guy!”
If you’re not sure who Steve Wozniak is, he co-founded Apple Computers – and contributed greatly to what the PC is today. He claims to be the first person to attach a keyboard to a computer, back when he was involved with the Homebrew Computer Club. Anyway, check it out if you’re feeling super geeky.
